דַּיֵּית
דַּיֵּית 1) (Pa. of דות, cmp. Syr. דעת P. Sm. 933, a. דוי) to drip, sweat. Pes.30b מְדַיְּיתֵי Ms. M. (ed. מִידַּיְּיתֵי Ithpa.) (the glazed vessels) exnde (are porous). 2) to languish, faint. Targ. Job 9:13 דייתן, Ar. (ed. Lag. דיתין, Var. דייתן, ed. שָׁיְחִין). 3) denom. of דְּיוּתָא q. v.
